La Nucía, Alicante
The future school is located on an 8,860 m² municipal plot between Calle Sorolla and Calle Benlliure, behind the ALDI supermarket. The educational complex will include two buildings: one for Early Years (Infant Education) and another for Primary Education. It will also feature a gym and a large dining hall with an on-site kitchen. In total, the third school will provide 3,876 m² of built area across its different buildings.

CEIP Doctor Esquerdo

The new education centre comprises 4,400 m² across two floors, plus 600 m² of covered porches, with a multi-purpose sports court, a naturalised outdoor area, and a school garden.
The Early Years (Infant Education) area includes six classrooms, a multi-purpose room, and a dedicated room for special education small-group support, as well as two classrooms for two-year-olds, each with its own outdoor area.
The building also features fourteen Primary Education classrooms, plus three workshops, a flexible multi-purpose classroom, and a tiered assembly hall. It includes a library, dining hall, gym, and an additional multi-purpose room.

Albergue Urbano Sequia Mare

A multi-purpose municipal building within Parc de la Séquia Mare.
Conceived as a green “lung”, Parc de la Séquia Mare will serve as a transition between present-day Benidorm and the future Benidorm that will emerge from planned urban developments to the northeast. This setting calls for an intervention with a building that almost doesn’t read as a building—distinctive enough to act as a point of attraction, yet discreet within the landscape. For this reason, we have sought maximum integration of the structure with its natural surroundings.
Extensión Administrativa

The project for this new facility embraces its role as an administrative satellite and proposes a space—essentially a representative pavilion—generous in scale and designed to streamline interaction between the administration and local residents.
The structure is conceived as a single-storey building of 165 m², composed of a series of trapezoidal forms arranged unevenly in an almost star-like layout. These elements connect along their longest sides to a larger, central space.
In 2016, the building received an ARCHITIZER international award, part of a recognised programme that highlights outstanding buildings and products worldwide each year.
Vilamuseu

Villajoyosa, Alicante 2015
International Best Practice Award from the Design for All Foundation (2017 and 2020).
Vilamuseu was built in 2015. The project was designed by the local architect Tomás Soriano (from Villajoyosa).
A major 4,500 m² facility, it preserves the façade of the former Álvaro Esquerdo School, in a historicist style.
Originally built in 1922, it was funded by Dr. Álvaro Esquerdo, a renowned physician born in La Ermita (Villajoyosa).
